Glossary of Terms
- Random Number (Pseudo-random)
- A number generated using an algorithm that, while deterministic, produces a sequence that approximates true randomness.
- Repetition / Unique
- If repetition is *allowed*, the same number can appear multiple times. If *not allowed* (unique), each generated number is distinct.
- Standard Deviation (Std. Dev.)
- A measure of the amount of variation or dispersion of a set of values. A low standard deviation indicates that the values tend to be close to the mean (average).
