How to Use
Welcome to the Interval Timer! This tool is designed for workouts, study sessions, and any activity requiring timed intervals.
- Build Your Sequence: Use the "Workout Editor" to add phases like "Effort" or "Rest". Set the duration for each phase in seconds.
- Set Repetitions: Adjust the "Rounds / Sets" number to repeat your sequence of phases.
- Use Presets: Quickly load common routines like Tabata or Pomodoro from the "Presets" section.
- Control Your Timer: Use Start, Pause, Reset, and Skip to manage your session. A 10-second preparation countdown begins automatically.
- Print Your Routine: Click the "Print" button at the bottom to get a paper copy of your current timer setup.
Glossary
- Phase
- A single block of time in your sequence (e.g., 30 seconds of "Effort").
- Round / Set
- One full completion of all the phases in your sequence. The timer will run through your sequence for the number of rounds you set.
- Preset
- A pre-configured timer with a specific set of phases and rounds, like Tabata (8 rounds of 20s effort, 10s rest).
